Daily Fitness: February 12th

Hey guys! I just finished my post about yesterday’s workout. Today I’m finally back on schedule and followed February 12th’s videos on the Blogilates calendar. There were 4 HIITilates (combination of HIIT and pilates workouts) videos that were much more difficult for me than the usual HIIT (high-intensity interval training) or pilates workouts. It’s okay though, I accept the challenge! You can view today’s playlist here.

1. HIITilates New Year Slimdown Workout: I really liked the skaters at the beginning versus speed skaters which I’ve done in other videos. I still can’t do hollow rock properly! I’ve been doing the modified version for so long. Hopefully I’ll be able to do the proper form someday. The mat get ups were really difficult too. I’ve never done those before, but practice makes perfect, so I’ll keep practicing!

2. HIITilates – Beautiful Burn: This is one of the workouts I used to choose very often. I love the Locked Out of Heaven Mash-Up Cover at the beginning of the video. It’s one of my favorite songs to play at the beginning of a workout. I’ll be writing a post about my favorite workout songs in the future.

3. HIITilates – Scream & Shout: I couldn’t stay up for the side plank knee ups, so I just did a side plank instead. I’ll be working up to the point that I’ll be able to add in those knee ups though.

4. HIITilates – My Thighs are Dying!: This workout was so difficult for me. I still got through it though. Never give up, guys!

For those of you that are new to my blog, I will be writing about my fitness routine everyday. I am currently following the Blogilates calendar. Depending on how much time I have, I might add in a few extra Blogilates workouts to the daily calendar schedule as well as a 5-15 minutes weighted hula hoop cool down. In the future, when the weather warms up, I’ll be at the gym more often. I usually run or lift weights while I’m there. I’ll blog more about my spring and summer routine in a few months so stay tuned!
